Nurturing Whole Health: Moms, Babies, and God in the First Year
Do you feel that, as a mother, you find yourself overwhelmed with advice, expectations, and endless lists of do’s and don'ts from social media, the internet, and even your friends and family? This flood of information often adds to a mother’s self doubt and drowns out the innate wisdom that God has bestowed upon her—the ability to nurture and tend to her child in ways that embrace whole health. Nicole’s book Nurturing Whole Health: Mom, Babies, and God in the First Year is an invitation to rediscover and honor that wisdom.

“We have been given the opportunity to mold children who are confident, courageous, and creative. But we must be willing to mold ourselves first. This book presents whole health for moms and babies grounded on the belief that our God wants to guide and guard each of us.”

Nicole’s journey began as a daydreaming child living in Clemson, South Carolina and New Orleans, Louisiana. Her imagination, determination, and life-long love of learning led her to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Emory University, a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center, and starting her career as a passionate young ER nurse in Austin, Texas. Pediatric nursing quickly became her passion at the renowned Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX and she advanced to become a pediatric nurse practitioner.
